Located in the fertile Rio Grande Valley in central New Mexico a few miles south of Belen, Little Hills Ranch has been successfully training, showing and breeding quality Quarter Horses, as well as Paints, Palominos, Buckskins and Appaloosas, for thirty plus years. Focus is on personal, quality attention to our horses and our youth and amateur students.

Has been in the equine business forty years. Bred, raised and/or trained horses and riders to AQHA World Show Top 10 placing, Palomino Reserve World Champion, Palomino & Buckskin Championships and numerous state and local year end high point awards.
Holds judge's cards for ABRA (American Buckskin Registry Association) and AHSA (American Stock Horse Association) and has been a member of AQHA Professional Horsemen's Association and the APHA Professional Horsemen's Association since the inception of these two organizations. To maintain judge certification and stay current on industry trends, attended 2016 judges seminar sponsored by the Color Breed Council.
Has been actively involved in the NM Horse Council, NM Quarter Horse Assocation, NM Palomino Exhibitors Association and the NM Paint Horse Club, holding numerous officer and board positions over the past thirty five years. Also, is an APA national director for Palomino Horse Breeders of America and serves as an alternate NM affiliate national director for the American Paint Horse Association. Currently, president the NM Paint Horse Club and the NM Palomino Exhibitors Assoc.

Absolutely Blonde, High Point Open and Amateur Palomino at Green Chile Days, June 3, in Belen with Berniece showing. Won Open and Amateur Halter and Color under both judges!
Who Invited Her, qualified for 2017 APHA World Show at Spring Salsa Sensation in April.
I had the priviledge of judging a young lady riding a mare by Nicka Lee Pine (my Zippo Pat Bars bred stalllion - now deceased) in all breed classes in April. They presented an outstanding picture as they prepared for a trip to the AQHA Level 1 Championships in Las Vegas where they placed 4th out of 34 in Youth Rookie Hunt Seat Equitation, 7th on Pattern and 11th on Rail in Youth Level 1 Hunt Seat Equitation 13 & under, 9th in Youth Level 1 Hunter Under Saddle 13 & under, and 13th in Youth Rookie Showmanship. Congrats to Kyra Bowker and A Sassy Red Zipper!
The Chocolate Fix, APHA Solid Paint Bred gelding, and Jane Kay Cee More, AQHA mare, have new owners. Best wishes as these horses continue their training!
